Fantech FKD direct drive mixed flow centrifugal fans are designed to combine the high flow capacity of axial fans with the efficient, higher pressure characteristics of backward curved impellers, making them suitable for exhaust or supply applications where quiet operation and easy installation are key considerations. These fans are ideal for use in commercial and institutional settings such as offices, hospitals, beauty salons, and veterinary clinics, as well as in residential applications like kitchen range hood exhaust systems. The FKD fans feature a straight-through inline design and are available in various sizes to fit duct sizes ranging from 8 inches to 20 inches. They can be installed at any angle along the ductwork, and the motors are capable of operating in airstream temperatures up to 140°F. The motor bearings are permanently sealed and self-lubricating, ensuring reliable performance. Key features include a mixed flow impeller, 100% speed controllability, an external rotor motor, and a galvanized steel housing.
