The RVF models are exhaust-air fans designed for installation on external walls, featuring an impeller with backward-curved blades and a casing made of galvanized sheet steel with a white powder-coat finish. These fans effectively keep ambient noise outside when installed on an exterior wall. They are lightweight, compact, and easy to install without the need for additional components; users simply mount the fan to the wall and connect to the conveniently located terminal box. The housing is removable, providing immediate access to the motor and wiring connections. Key attributes include a galvanized steel housing with a powder-coat finish, an external rotor motor with a totally enclosed design suitable for high moisture, lint, and dust-laden air, and permanent split capacitor motors that come with automatic reset thermal overload protection and sealed ball bearings for long life and maintenance-free operation. All motors and impellers are designed as a single integral unit for excellent heat dissipation, even at low RPM. The fans utilize permanently lubricated sealed ball bearings and are backed by a five-year factory warranty. They are compliant with ENERGY STAR, HVI certification, CSAUS, and CULUS standards.
