Fantech FKD direct drive, mixed flow centrifugal fans combine the high flow of axial fans with the higher pressure, non-overloading characteristics of backward curved impellers, making them an excellent choice for exhaust or supply applications where quieter performance and easy installation are essential. These fans are suitable for commercial and institutional structures such as offices, hospitals, beauty salons, and veterinary clinics, as well as residential applications like kitchen range hood exhaust. The FKD fans feature a straight-through inline design and are available in a wide range of sizes accommodating duct sizes from 8" to 20". They can be mounted at any angle at any point along the ductwork. The motors are capable of operating in airstream temperatures up to 140° F, and their motor bearings are permanently sealed, self-lubricating ball type. Key features include a mixed flow impeller, 100% speed control, installation versatility in any position, an external rotor motor, a galvanized steel housing, and they come with a three-year warranty. The fans are certified by AMCA air, AMCA sound, and CULUS.
