Fantech FKD Direct Drive mixed flow centrifugal fans combine the high flow of axial fans with the higher pressure and non-overloading characteristics of backward curved impellers, making them an excellent choice for both exhaust and supply applications where quieter performance and easy installation are crucial. These fans are suitable for commercial and institutional structures, including offices, hospitals, beauty salons, and veterinary clinics, as well as residential applications such as kitchen range hood exhaust. The FKD straight-through inline design fans are available in a variety of sizes for installation in duct sizes ranging from 8" to 20". They can be mounted at any angle along the ductwork, and the motors operate in airstream temperatures up to 140°F. The motor bearings are permanently sealed, self-lubricating ball type. Key features include a mixed flow impeller, 100% speed controllability, the ability to be installed in any position, an external rotor motor, and a galvanized steel housing. The fans come with a three-year warranty and are certified by AMCA Air, AMCA Sound, and CULUS.
