The brake motor features a 1/3 HP, 1725 RPM, 56 frame, totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) design, operating at 115/208-230V and 1 phase, with continuous duty capability and no thermal protection. It has a service factor of 1.15 and a rigid C mount for secure installation. This fail-safe positive stop and hold brake motor incorporates spring-set brakes, ensuring that the load is automatically stopped when power is turned off. For added convenience, the brake motors are equipped with a power-off manual release, which resets automatically, making it useful in case of a power failure. The standard brake is manufactured by Stearns, and the brake coil leads are conveniently routed into the conduit box of the motor for easy connection. These coils can be configured to operate either when power to the motor is shut off or to be actuated independently of the motor's power. The single-phase brake coils operate at 115/230 VAC and 60 Hz.
