The brake motor features a 1/2HP output with a speed of 1725RPM, housed in a 56 frame, designed with a totally-enclosed, fan-cooled (TEFC) configuration and operates on 115/208-230V, 1PH, suitable for continuous duty applications without thermal protection, and has a 1.0 service factor along with a rigid C mount. This fail-safe positive stop and hold brake motor ensures that the load is automatically stopped when power is turned off, with brakes that are spring set. For convenience, the brake system includes a power-off manual release that resets automatically, and the standard brake is manufactured by Stearns. The brake coil leads are integrated into the motor's conduit box for easy connection and can either operate when power to the motor is shut off or be actuated independently of power supplied to the motor. The single-phase brake coils operate at 115/230 VAC, 60 Hz.
