The explosion-proof motor features a 1/3HP power rating with a dual RPM of 3450/2850, a 56 frame size, and is classified as EPNV, operating at 208-230/460V with a 3-phase configuration, suitable for continuous duty. The motor is equipped with automatic thermal protection and boasts a 1.0 service factor with a round mount design. It offers rugged mechanical construction that meets all safety requirements and is UL and CSA listed. Double shielded, pre-lubricated ball bearings come standard, and all motors incorporate inherent automatic overload protection. The motor includes an explosion-proof conduit box at no extra cost, and normally-closed thermostats are standard on cast iron models. Additionally, this motor is designed for use in Division I areas, where hazards are present continuously or may lead to fire/explosion, and Division II areas, where such threats are not normally expected.
