The explosion-proof motor features a power rating of 2/1.5HP and operates at speeds of 3450/2850RPM, with a 56 frame size and EPFC designation. It is designed for use at 208-230/460V in a three-phase configuration with continuous duty capabilities. Key features include automatic thermal protection, a 1.15 service factor, and a round mount design. The rugged mechanical construction meets safety requirements and is UL and CSA listed, with double shielded, pre-lubricated ball bearings as standard. All motors come with inherent automatic overload protection, and a NEMA 1.0 service factor applies except as otherwise noted. An explosion-proof conduit box is included, and normally-closed thermostats are standard on cast iron motors. The motor is suitable for use in Division I areas, where hazards are present continuously or may become a risk due to uncommon occurrences, as well as Division II areas, where the threat of fire or explosion is not normally present.
