The Compressor Duty Motor is a robust 3HP motor operating at 3450 RPM with a 56 frame size, designed for drip-proof (DP) performance at 230V, 1PH, suitable for continuous duty applications. It features manual thermal protection and a 1.15 service factor, making it ideal for air compressor, pump, and fan and blower duty applications that require high breakdown torque and durable mechanical construction. The motor is equipped with prelubricated double shielded ball bearings, adequately sized to handle varying belt loads and tensions. Its electrical characteristics include high efficiency energy-saving designs, Class F copper windings, and Class F varnish, providing high starting and breakdown torque. The motor is wired for clockwise (CW) rotation when facing the lead end but can be reconnected for counter-clockwise (CCW) rotation.
