The explosion-proof motor features a 3/2HP power output with a speed of 3450/2850 RPM and a 56 frame size, operating on a voltage range of 208-230/460V in a 3-phase configuration for continuous duty. It is equipped with automatic thermal protection and has a service factor of 1.0. The motor's rugged mechanical construction ensures it meets all safety requirements, and it is UL and CSA listed. Standard components include double shielded, pre-lubricated ball bearings and inherent automatic overload protection across all models. The explosion-proof conduit box is included, and normally-closed thermostats are standard on cast iron motors. The motor is designed for use in Division I areas, where hazards are present continuously, and Division II areas, where the threat of fire or explosion is not normally present.
