The Leeson Aeration Fan Motor is a robust 3 HP unit designed for reliable performance in demanding conditions, featuring a 3450 RPM speed and a single-phase operation. This totally enclosed air over motor is dust-tight and suitable for both shaft-mounted and belt-driven fan applications, ensuring effective protection from environmental factors when used within the airflow of the driven fan. It employs capacitor start designs and is finished in epoxy enamel to provide enhanced corrosion resistance in harsh atmospheres. The motor is lubricated with high-temperature Exxon Polyrex® EM lubricant and includes grounding provisions, a fully gasketed construction, and a rigid base. It is built to a 145 frame standard and operates at 230V.
