The Compressor Duty Motor is a 3HP, 1740RPM, 184 frame, drip-proof (DP) unit designed for continuous duty applications, operating at 115/230V and 1PH without thermal protection, featuring a 1.15 service factor and rigid mount. This motor is specifically engineered for use in air compressors, pumps, as well as fan and blower applications that demand high breakdown torque and robust mechanical construction. It includes mechanical features such as prelubricated double shielded and amply sized ball bearing construction to handle varying belt loads and tension. The electrical aspects highlight high efficiency energy-saving designs, Class F copper windings, and Class F varnish, along with high starting and breakdown torque.
