The JM Pump Motor is a 1.5HP unit operating at 1740RPM with a 145 frame size, designed for continuous duty with drip-proof (DP) protection and an operational voltage of 115/208-230V in a single-phase configuration. This motor features a rigid C mount and has a service factor of 1.15 without thermal protection. Its mechanical attributes include an open drip-proof construction with cooling air exhausts located at the shaft end to maximize cooling efficiency, along with an oversized locked bearing on the shaft end that limits axial shaft movement. The electrical design incorporates high-efficiency copper windings with NEMA 1.15 service factors, and the motor is recognized by UL and CSA. Single-phase models are designed for capacitor start/induction run operation unless specified otherwise.
