The Leeson explosion-proof, 3-phase, C face motor with base is rated at 0.5 HP and operates at 1725 RPM, designed for long-lasting durability and dependability in hazardous locations. It is suitable for Division I and Division II environments, Class I, groups C&D, and Class II, groups F & G, and comes equipped with a conduit box for added safety. The rugged mechanical construction meets all safety requirements and features double shielded, pre-lubricated ball bearings, along with inherent automatic overload protection. An explosion-proof conduit box is included, and the motor must be applied in accordance with the National Electrical Code, Article #500. This motor has a 56 frame and is UL and CSA listed, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.
