The compressor duty motor is a 5HP, 1740RPM, 184 frame, drip-proof (DP) motor designed for continuous duty applications at 208-230V and 1PH. It features manual thermal protection with a service factor of 1.15 and is rigidly mounted. This motor is specifically engineered for air compressor, pump, and fan and blower duty applications, requiring high breakdown torque and rugged mechanical construction. Mechanical attributes include prelubricated double shielded, amply sized ball bearing construction to accommodate varying belt loads and tension. On the electrical side, it boasts high efficiency energy-saving designs, Class F copper windings, and Class F varnish along with high starting and breakdown torque. The motor is wired for clockwise (CW) rotation facing the lead end but may also be reconnected for counterclockwise (CCW) rotation.
