The Leeson explosion-proof, 3-phase, C face motor with base features a power rating of .33 HP and offers dual speed options at 3450 / 2850 RPM. Designed for long-lasting durability and dependability, these motors are suitable for use in hazardous locations classified as Division I and Division II, specifically in Class I, Groups C&D and Class II, Groups F & G. The motor includes a rugged mechanical construction that meets all safety requirements, equipped with double shielded, pre-lubricated ball bearings and inherent automatic overload protection. Additionally, it comes with an explosion-proof conduit box. Division I areas are those where a hazard is present continuously or may result in an explosion due to an accident or uncommon occurrence, while Division II areas are those where the threat of fire or explosion is not normally present. The motor must be applied in accordance with the National Electrical Code, Article #500, and adheres to the 56 frame specification. It is UL and CSA listed, ensuring compliance with strict safety standards.
