The explosion-proof motor is designed with a .5/.33 HP power rating and operates at 3450/2850 RPM, featuring a 56 frame and EPNV classification, suitable for 208-230/460V, 3-phase systems. This continuous duty motor includes automatic thermal protection and has a 1.0 service factor. Constructed with rugged mechanical integrity, it meets all safety requirements and is UL and CSA listed. Standard features include double shielded, pre-lubricated ball bearings and inherent automatic overload protection. The motor comes with an explosion-proof conduit box at no extra cost, and cast iron motors are equipped with normally-closed thermostats. It is designed for use in Division I areas, where hazardous conditions are continuously present, as well as Division II areas, where such threats are not normally present and are unlikely to result in an explosion in the event of an abnormal occurrence.
