The agricultural motor features a 1/2HP output, operates at 1625RPM, and has a 48 frame size. It is a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) design, suitable for 115/230V, 1PH applications, and is rated for Airover duty with a 1.0 service factor. The motor includes automatic thermal protection and a rigid-extended studs mount. Designed specifically for fan and blower duty, it provides dependable, energy-saving performance in applications where the fan is mounted on the motor shaft. Its permanent split capacitor design eliminates the need for a centrifugal switch, enhancing reliability and energy efficiency. The motor allows for operation at listed speed, with the option for two-speed operation through the use of an appropriate auxiliary switch. It features overload protection with an automatic reset protector, grounding provisions, and a totally enclosed, dust-tight construction. Additionally, the motor is lubricated with a high-temperature lubricant for quiet operation and boasts a corrosion-resistant finish suitable for demanding environments. However, due to its inherently low starting torque, this motor is not suitable for belt-driven fan applications and must be mounted within the air stream of the driven fan.
