The explosion-proof motor is rated at 1.5/1 HP with a speed of 3450/2850 RPM and features a 56 frame size. It is designed for EPFC with a voltage of 208-230/460V and operates on a 3-phase system, providing continuous duty performance. The motor includes automatic thermal protection and has a service factor of 1.0, with a round mount configuration. Its rugged mechanical construction meets all safety requirements and is UL and CSA listed, ensuring compliance. The motor is equipped with double shielded, pre-lubricated ball bearings as standard and features inherent automatic overload protection. The NEMA 1.0 service factor applies except as noted, and an explosion-proof conduit box is included at no extra cost. Additionally, normally-closed thermostats are standard on cast iron motors. This motor is suitable for Division I areas, where hazards are present continuously, and Division II areas, where such threats are not normally present.
