The brake motor features a 3/4HP, 1725RPM, 56 frame, and is designed as a drip-proof (DP) unit with a voltage rating of 208-230/460V, 3PH, and continuous duty capability. It has no thermal protection and a service factor of 1.25, with a C face mount specification. This motor includes fail-safe positive, stop and hold brake motors where the brakes are spring set, automatically stopping the load when power is turned off. It also has a power off manual release for convenience and in case of a power failure, with the manual release resetting automatically. The standard brake is manufactured by Stearns, with brake coil leads brought into the conduit box for easy connection, which can be configured to operate either when power is shut off to the motor or to be actuated independent of power. The three-phase motors have brake coils rated at 230/460 VAC, 60 Hz.
