The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ SE surface conditioning disc has a 2" diameter and features aluminum oxide abrasive with a fine grit, designed for heavy-duty deburring and finishing applications. Its open-web fiber construction runs cool and resists loading, while the aluminum oxide provides a high cut rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention, making it suitable for use on a variety of substrates including ferrous alloys in both woodworking and metalworking. The aluminum oxide abrasive is durable and self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges during use, offering a longer life compared to traditional abrasives like garnet. The disc uses the 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system, which allows for quick and easy disc changes by attaching to a Roloc™ disc pad (sold separately), supporting convenient switching between different tasks or multi-step finishing processes. The system ensures secure attachment for heavy-duty work, and each disc is color-coded to identify its grade for easy selection.
