The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ surface conditioning disc 3" diameter TSM aluminum oxide CRS grit features an open-web fiber design that runs cool and resists loading, providing a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. It uses the 3M™ Roloc™ quick-change attachment system for fast and easy disc replacement, ideal for blending, deburring, and finishing tasks. Available in silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasives, the silicon carbide is sharp and suited for low-pressure applications such as paint preparation and finishing, while the aluminum oxide is a hard, blocky mineral offering a high cut-rate and extended life; silicon carbide breaks down faster but yields a finer finish. The quick-change discs securely attach to a Roloc™ disc pad (sold separately) and are color-coded by grade for easy identification. Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning products integrate abrasives into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, maintaining consistent performance throughout the product life, with the open-web material reducing heat buildup and the risk of part discoloration or warping, while the load-resistant fibers prevent clogging to sustain high cutting performance.
