The disc utilizes the 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system for quick and easy disc change-out, making it suitable for various applications and ensuring secure attachment during heavy-duty use. Available options include silicon carbide and aluminum oxide abrasive minerals, where silicon carbide is suited for low-pressure applications like paint preparation, while aluminum oxide offers high cut-rate and longevity. Each disc is color-coded to easily identify its grade, facilitating swift selection for different tasks. The Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning products combine abrasives with non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, presenting a load-resistant design that minimizes clogging, thereby extending the life of the disc.
