The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ surface conditioning disc is 3 inches in diameter with TSM SFN grit, featuring open-web fiber construction that runs cool and resists loading while the abrasives provide a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. It uses the 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system for quick and easy disc change-out, making it suitable for blending, deburring, and finishing tasks. The disc is available with silicon carbide abrasive, a synthetic mineral ideal for low-pressure applications such as paint preparation and finishing, or aluminum oxide abrasive, a hard, blocky mineral that offers a high cut-rate and long life; silicon carbide breaks down faster but yields a finer finish. The quick change Roloc™ discs attach securely to a Roloc™ disc pad (sold separately), allowing convenient interchange in multi-step finishing processes with color-coded grades for easy identification. Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning products combine abrasives with non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers to create a system that delivers consistent performance throughout the product's life, with an open-web design that minimizes heat buildup, risk of part discoloration or warping, and fiber clogging while extending product life.
