The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ surface conditioning disc is a 3-inch diameter disc featuring an open-web fiber design that runs cool and resists loading while abrasives provide a high cut rate for consistent finishing. Utilizing the 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system, the disc allows quick and easy change-out, making it suitable for tasks such as blending, deburring, and finishing. The disc is available with either silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasive minerals; silicon carbide is sharp and ideal for low-pressure applications like paint preparation and finishing, producing a finer finish but breaking down faster, whereas aluminum oxide delivers a high cut rate and long life. These quick change discs attach easily to a Roloc™ disc pad (sold separately), providing secure attachment even for heavy-duty use and enabling fast swapping between applications. Each disc is color-coded by grade for easy identification. Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning products combine abrasives with non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, delivering consistent results throughout the product's life, with open-web fibers running cool to reduce part discoloration and warping, offer load resistance, limit clogging, and extend disc life. The packaging includes the 3-inch diameter discs compatible with the 3M Roloc attachment system, and the product meets relevant industry standards for surface conditioning. The warranty terms are provided by 3M and cover defects in material and workmanship under normal use conditions.
