The 3M™ ROLOC™ Disc 777F 1" Diameter TR Ceramic 80 Grit is resin-bonded to withstand high heat and pressure, featuring a grinding aid that reduces temperatures to protect heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel and nickel alloys. It incorporates 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain, a ceramic mineral designed to enhance the toughness and hardness of the grain, blended with aluminum oxide mineral to increase performance. This ceramic aluminum oxide blend offers superior cut-rate and durability compared to aluminum oxide abrasives, making it ideal for moderate to heavy stock removal, fast cutting, and handling intense heat and stress applications. The disc is compatible with ROLOC attachment systems TSM, TR, TP, and TS, with discs available specifically to match each attachment design. It is intended for applications including blending, deburring, edge beveling, flat areas, grinding, weld removal, and finishing in metal fabrication industries.
