The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ surface conditioning disc 2" diameter TR SFN grit features an open-web fiber construction that runs cool and resists loading, while the abrasives deliver a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. The disc uses the 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system for quick and easy disc change-out, making it suitable for blending, deburring, and finishing tasks. It is available with either silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasive minerals; silicon carbide is a sharp synthetic mineral ideal for low-pressure applications such as paint preparation and finishing, producing a finer finish but breaking down faster, while aluminum oxide offers a hard, blocky mineral with a high cut-rate and long life. The 3M™ Roloc™ quick change discs are smaller discs that easily attach onto a Roloc™ disc pad (sold separately), providing a secure attachment even for heavy-duty applications and allowing for convenient disc swaps in multi-step finishing processes. Each disc is color-coded to identify its grade for easy selection according to application needs. Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning products incorporate abrasives into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, forming an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the product’s life. The open-web material limits clogging and runs cool to reduce part discoloration and warping, while the fibers maintain abrasive cutting performance and extend product life.
