The 3M™ ROLOC™ Disc 361F is a 1-1/2" diameter abrasive disc featuring aluminum oxide 60 grit, known for its fast cut-rate and long life due to its self-fracturing mineral that exposes fresh cutting edges. This disc is suitable for a wide variety of materials in woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys, and is used in grinding, sanding, and finishing applications. It incorporates a heat-resistant resin binding agent that secures the abrasive to the cloth-backed backing, ensuring durability and flexibility even under high heat or pressure. The cloth backing enhances the disc's durability and is ideal for metalworking or heavy wood stock removal. The 361F disc is compatible with ROLOC attachment systems including TSM, TR, TP, and TS, and should be selected according to the correct system attachment design. Typical applications include blending, deburring, edge beveling, working on flat areas, grinding, prepping metal prior to painting, weld removal, and finishing in metal fabrication industries.
