The Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ SC surface conditioning disc is designed for various tasks including blending, deburring, and finishing, featuring an open-web fiber that runs cool and resists loading. This product utilizes the 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system, which allows for quick and easy disc change-out. The disc is available with either silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasive minerals; silicon carbide is ideal for low-pressure applications like paint prep, providing a finer finish but breaking down faster, while aluminum oxide offers a higher cut-rate and longer life. The 3M™ Roloc™ quick change discs are compatible with Roloc™ disc pads (sold separately) and are designed for secure attachment even during heavy-duty applications. Each disc is color-coded for grade identification, enabling easy selection for different applications. The Scotch-Brite™ products incorporate abrasives into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, delivering consistent results and reducing the risk of part discoloration and warping. The load-resistant fibers prevent clogging, ensuring prolonged performance of the abrasive minerals. Key applications include blending, cleaning, contour finishing, deburring, and finishing.
