The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ SE surface conditioning disc is a 3-inch diameter disc with aluminum oxide medium grit abrasives designed for heavy-duty deburring and finishing applications. The open-web fiber construction runs cool and resists loading while the aluminum oxide abrasives provide a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. Aluminum oxide, known for its hardness, strength, low heat retention, and self-fracturing properties that expose fresh cutting edges, is effective on a wide variety of substrates in woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. The 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system enables quick and secure disc change-out on Roloc™ disc pads (sold separately), allowing convenient switching between applications or steps in multi-step finishing processes. The discs are color-coded to indicate their grade for ease of selection. Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning products incorporate abrasives into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, forming a system that delivers consistent results throughout its life. The open-web material's design reduces heat buildup, minimizing the risk of part discoloration and warping. The product meets relevant industry standards and comes with a warranty in accordance with 3M’s terms.
