The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Roloc™ Durable Edge Disc 984F is a 2-inch diameter abrasive disc featuring TSM ceramic grain with a grit rating of 36+. It incorporates 3M's proprietary precision-shaped grain (PSG) technology combined with the convenience of the Roloc™ quick-change attachment system for outstanding cut rates and extended disc life. The disc is constructed with a laminated 2-ply polyester backing designed for wear resistance during edge work, enhancing durability. A grinding aid integrated into the disc aids in keeping the disc cooler when working on stainless steel and heat-sensitive metals such as nickel alloys and titanium, reducing metal discoloration, oxidation, and the risk of heat-related stress cracks.
