The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Surface Conditioning Disc is a 2-inch diameter disc featuring aluminum oxide medium grit abrasives embedded in an open-web fiber that runs cool and resists loading, providing a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. The disc utilizes the 3M™ Roloc™ quick change attachment system, enabling fast and secure disc change-out, ideal for blending, deburring, and finishing tasks. Available with either silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasive minerals, silicon carbide is sharp and suited for low-pressure applications such as paint prep and finishing, while aluminum oxide offers a high cut-rate and long life; although it breaks down slower than silicon carbide, it delivers a coarser finish. The Roloc™ quick change discs attach easily to a Roloc™ disc pad (sold separately), allowing for quick disc changes in multi-step finishing processes. Each disc is color-coded to easily identify its grade. Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning products combine abrasives with non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers to create a system that delivers consistent results over the product’s life, with open-web material that minimizes heat buildup reducing risk of part discoloration and warping. The fibers are load-resistant to maintain the cutting performance by limiting clogging and extending disc life. Warranty terms apply as specified by 3M.
