The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ cut and polish flap brush measures 6" x 1" x 2" and features medium grit aluminum oxide abrasives. It is constructed using proprietary 3M non-woven materials technology with an open web design that helps reduce loading, maintain effective cutting action longer, and extend service life compared to conventional brushes. The brush's nonwoven structure combines fiber strands, resin, and abrasive mineral in a thick, open web that responds to contours, effectively removes unwanted burrs, soils, and contaminants while preserving the workpiece geometry, thereby minimizing rework and increasing productivity. Gaps in the web allow swarf to escape, preventing clogging, and fibers continually break down during use to reveal fresh mineral for consistent, superior cut performance. This industrial abrasive enhances operator safety by reducing the need for cleaning chemicals and replacing wire brushes that pose injury risks.
