The Gravity Skatewheel Conveyor is designed to convey lightweight loads that have firm flat surfaces, such as cartons, totes, and cases. It features a lightweight construction that allows for quick temporary setups, incorporating quick connecting hook and rod couplers. The skatewheels roll freely, making them ideal for conveying lighter packages. The aluminum conveyors are easier to handle due to their lighter weight, while the galvanized steel conveyors offer greater durability. The system includes 1-15/16" diameter, pre-lubricated zinc plated steel wheels. Constructed with 1" x 2-1/2" x 1" frames made from 12 gauge galvanized steel, the axles are 1/4" diameter steel positioned on 3" centers, with one end threaded and secured with a locking nut. The wheels provide a capacity of 75 lbs, and the galvanized steel frame supports capacities of 36 lbs per foot with supports on 10' centers and 260 lbs per foot with supports on 5' centers. Skatewheel sections are measured by the overall width (OAW), and all hook and rod couplers are zinc plated.
