The Ashland 10' Straight Aluminum Skatewheel Conveyor model 42581 features a 30" overall width (OAW) and 36 wheels per foot (WPF). This gravity skatewheel conveyor is designed to convey lightweight loads with firm flat surfaces such as cartons, totes, and cases. It is constructed with 1" x 2-1/2" x 1" frames made from 1/8" heat-treated aluminum, with axles measuring 1/4" diameter steel spaced on 3" centers, one end threaded with a locking nut. The skateboard wheels are 1-15/16" diameter pre-lubricated aluminum wheels with a 1/4" bore and a load capacity of 75 lbs. The capacity of the aluminum frame is 16 lbs. per foot with supports spaced 10' apart and 150 lbs. per foot with supports on 5' centers. The conveyor includes quick connecting zinc-plated hook and rod couplers, making it lighter than roller conveyors and suitable for temporary setups.
