Thermo Scientific™ Komet stir bars generate over three times the torque of conventional stirring bars, significantly enhancing stirrer performance and applications versatility. The kit includes high-energy samarium-cobalt (SmCo) magnetic cores for superior mixing action at high speeds and with viscous media. The stir bars feature an evenly coated PTFE surface that prevents residue deposits and can be sterilized with steam up to 249.8°F (121°C). Designed for durability, the long-life stir bars have a round shape with a wear-resistant glide ring. Note that these items will not ship to residential addresses.
