Thermo Scientific™ Komet stir bars generate over three times the torque of conventional stirring bars, significantly enhancing stirrer performance and application versatility. They feature a high-energy samarium-cobalt (SmCo) magnetic core that provides superior mixing action at high speeds and with viscous media. The evenly coated PTFE surface prevents residue deposits, and the stir bars can be sterilized with steam to 249.8°F (121°C). Designed for longevity, these round stir bars come with a wear-resistant glide ring. Note that these stir bars will not ship to residential addresses.
