Pyrex® SpinBar® glass encapsulated alnico magnet stirring bars are designed for high temperature applications, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 274°C (525°F). These stirring bars feature a completely smooth surface that provides "zero absorption" and facilitates easy cleaning. They meet the US Pharmacopeia specifications for Type I borosilicate glass and are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, verified by SGS certification. Additionally, they are autoclave safe, ensuring compatibility with sterilization processes. To prevent breakage, it is recommended that Pyrex glass stir bars be carefully placed at the bottom of the stirring vessel rather than being dropped.
