This retriever is designed to remove a magnetic stirring bar without coming into contact with the contents of the vessel, effectively eliminating contamination. The retriever maintains contact with the vessel where the stirring bar rests and can be moved upward, allowing the stirring bar to follow the inside of the vessel to a point where it can be grasped. The magnet is situated in a rectangular section measuring 25 x 70 mm (1 x 2 inches), with an overall length of 20 cm (7.7 inches). The long ribbed handle ensures a secure grip, and the retriever is constructed from high-density polyethylene, which does not require cleaning or autoclaving after use, making it a convenient tool for laboratory applications.
