The high-quality Teflon encapsulated magnetic stirring bars are designed for efficient mixing, delivering consistent results. Their multi-faceted polygon shape, which features increased surface area, creates added turbulence compared to similarly sized smooth cylindrical bars, ensuring thorough mixing. The absence of a pivot ring allows the spinbar to remain close to the bottom of the vessel for effective "scraping" of solids. These stirring bars couple optimally with magnetic spindrives, as the entire length of each stir bar maintains close contact. Each stir bar is made with an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, providing superior chemical compatibility. The product is manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification.
