These stir bars feature polygon multifaceted surfaces that enhance turbulence compared to similar smooth size cylindrical bars. The center molded pivot ring minimizes the contact area between the bar and the vessel, thereby reducing friction and chattering, which helps to diminish marring of plastic containers. Each stir bar is equipped with an Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, ensuring superior chemical compatibility. These products are manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2015 facility, as verified by SGS certification, and are autoclave safe.
