SpinRing® stirring bars are designed to provide maximum stabilization of the magnetic stirring bar with a unique removable "hoop" feature that encircles a standard octagonal bar, making them particularly effective for larger open-neck vessels like buckets and beakers. The friction fit between the "hoop" and the bar allows them to rotate together, significantly reducing the risk of "spin out" and ensuring the stirring bar remains centered within the vessel. The octagonal design facilitates the creation of a deep vortex, preventing splashing or chattering during operation. Each stirring bar is equipped with an Alnico magnet, encapsulated in FDA grade, USP Class VI Teflon® brand PTFE coating, which offers superior chemical compatibility. Additionally, these stirring bars are manufactured in a facility certified under ISO 9001:2015 standards as verified by SGS certification and are autoclave safe.
