It features a large aluminum heating surface, thermostatic temperature controls for outstanding temperature uniformity and stability, and a cycle light that indicates when power is being supplied to the heating element. The stainless-steel case ensures safe, reliable construction and optimal strength for heavy loads, while the epoxy-painted surface enhances chemical resistance in corrosive environments. The unit is recommended for use with glass vessels only. Please note that the 12 x 24 in. top plate models are not supplied with a cord and plug due to high-wattage consumption requirements and must be hard wired. Additionally, the unit will not ship to residential addresses.
