The Thermo Scientific™ Komet stir bars generate over three times the torque of conventional stirring bars, significantly enhancing stirrer performance and applications versatility. These stir bars feature a high-energy samarium-cobalt (SmCo) magnetic core, providing superior mixing action at high speeds and with viscous media. They are evenly coated with a PTFE surface, which prevents residue deposits and can be sterilized with steam up to 249.8°F (121°C). Moreover, the long-life stir bars are designed with a round shape and a wear-resistant glide ring. Note that these stir bars will not ship to residential addresses.
