Therm-X-Trol® expansion tanks are designed to manage thermal expansion that occurs as domestic water is heated, preventing pressure increases that can lead to relief valve discharge and hazardous conditions. This kit includes a tank featuring an antimicrobial liner that neutralizes bacteria on contact, a patent pending turbulator water diffuser, and a precharge of 50 psi, which is the industry's highest. Constructed with deep drawn steel domes, it offers twice the strength of other tanks and features the thickest diaphragm for extended durability. The hoop and groove design enhances reliability, and it includes a stainless steel system connection. This product is NSF 61 approved and meets California and Vermont low lead standards, ensuring compliance with water quality regulations.
