The Extrol EX-30 expansion tank is a pre-pressurized unit designed with a diaphragm configuration specifically for closed, non-potable, hydronic heating systems. It efficiently accommodates expanded water as system temperature increases, thereby mitigating pressure build-up, which helps in reducing energy consumption and minimizing system wear. The tank has a factory pre-charge of 12 PSIG, a maximum working pressure of 100 PSI, and can operate at temperatures up to 240 degrees F. Additionally, it features a water-tight reservoir for storing expanded water, ensuring reliable performance.
