The 3M™ Hookit™ Gold Film Disc 255L 6" x NH P320 grit aluminum oxide features an aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a film backing designed for fast cut-rate and uniform, close-tolerance finishes on wood, paint preparation, and defect repair applications. It is constructed with durable aluminum oxide and works well for most wood species. The disc has an open coat abrasive that provides a more aggressive cut compared to a closed coat abrasive of the same grade, and it includes a special loading resistant coating to reduce loading issues. The flexible film backing offers a consistent finish and greater tear-resistance than comparable paper-backed products, making it well-suited for high-production environments.
