The 3M™ Hookit™ Gold Film Disc 255L 5" NH P120 Grit Aluminum Oxide features aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a film backing designed for fast cut-rate and uniform, close-tolerance finishes on wood, paint prep, and defect repair applications. The disc's flexible film backing offers consistent finish quality and greater tear-resistance compared to similar paper-backed abrasives, making it suitable for high-production environments. Constructed with durable aluminum oxide, it performs well on most wood species. Its open coat design delivers a more aggressive cut than closed coat abrasives of the same grit, while a special loading-resistant coating reduces clogging issues. The disc is designed for applications including AOEM finish prep and repair, finishing, orbital sanding, paint and lacquer sanding on cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, metal fabrication, and primary wood and panel processing industries. The disc measures 5 inches and is equipped with NH (non-hole) Hookit™ attachment for easy use with compatible backing pads. Warranty terms are maintained as specified by 3M.
