The 3M™ Stikit™ Cloth Disc 900DZ 5" x NH P150 Grit Ceramic features a high-performing 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain with a static-resistant, open coat on a flexible adhesive backing designed for exceptional sanding performance on both contoured and flat surfaces. The open coat abrasive delivers a more aggressive cut than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade, making it well-suited for applications where loading is an issue and helping to prolong the disc's life. The disc is resin bonded for heat resistance and incorporates a static resistant coating to provide additional dust control, particularly when sanding wood surfaces. It is ideal for tough sanding jobs on aluminum, fiberglass, gelcoat, hardwood, metal, softwood, and solid surfaces. The proprietary 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain is chemically engineered with a unique "stay sharp" crystalline structure that continually reveals fresh cutting edges on the workpiece surface, ensuring fast and sustained cutting performance. This grain is formed to enhance toughness and hardness, offering longer service life than non-ceramic abrasives and is suitable for high-pressure production environments, including stainless steel and whitewood sanding. Cloth-backed discs provide durability and flexibility, making them an excellent choice for metal work or heavy wood stock removal. The 3M™ Stikit™ discs come with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for easy attachment to a Stikit disc pad, enabling quick and secure application.
