The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ EXL unitized mounted point A21 x 1/4" medium grit aluminum oxide is designed for lightly deburring, blending, and finishing metal and plastic parts, particularly small work pieces with hard-to-reach areas. It is available in a variety of ANSI shapes and sizes, securely fastened to a metal spindle for use with die grinders. The abrasive point features a nonwoven web that is load resistant and minimizes clogging of the nylon fibers, maintaining high cutting performance. The unitized construction is achieved by compressing and curing multiple layers of abrasive material together, resulting in higher density and increased durability. This product reduces the risk of smearing or blemishing surfaces and is suited for applications such as blending and deburring in industries including metal fabrication and turbine engines.
